At festivals across the world we put up lights and celebrate our cultures.

At Christmas and New Year millions of fairy lights are hung up in celebration. Light displays are also used in the Lunar New Year festivities of diverse Asian cultures. During the Hindu festival of Diwali colourful lights are ubiquitous and during ‘Eid and at Ramadan colourful lights adorn houses in a mass of colour and light.

Wonderworld used a shipping container as a room where culturally specific light decorations were intermingled into a vivid spectacle of energetic, pulsating light inviting viewers to participate through a photobooth set up.
